ISLAMABAD: Majlis Saut-ul-Islam has announced ambitious training courses for orators and prayer leaders aimed at imbibing tolerance and social coherence among different segments of the society.
Majlis’s chairman Mufti Abu Huraira Muhiuddin said that the main objective of the courses was to promote unity and social cohesion in the minds of orators and prayer leaders. The young orators and Imams of all the sects would be invited to participate in the year-long training courses.
“Admission forms could be obtained from the centers established at Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi and Quetta till Sunday (May 15). All participants of the course would be paid Rs 6,000 scholarship per month,” he added.
