BANNU: The relatives of the deceased Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, Jehangir Khan, on Wednesday asked the authorities to provide them protection as well as apprehend the killers.
Jehangir Khan was killed by unidentified gunmen in Bannu on May 22, who had just returned to his village Mani Kala in Ghoriwala Union Council for his marriage.
The deceased paramilitary trooper was part of the Panjgur Rifles-Frontier Corps, Baluchistan.
Mujahid Khan, brother of the deceased, during a press conference here told journalists that they had no enmity with anybody. He stressed that his brother was targeted by target killers for being a personnel of FC force.
He asked the authorities including Corps Commander Baluchistan, Chief Minister and Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to provide the victim’s family protection as well as take steps to apprehend the killers.
